Advocacy
I work with individuals and help them learn how to speak up for their food allergy needs with those around them and I help healthcare corporations, restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industries, as well as governmental and nongovernmental agencies understand the food allergy community’s needs and concerns and how to best serve those needs.

Served as consumer food allergy research reviewer for the Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs
Delivered national keynote and led Teen Summit for Food Allergy Research & Education
Advised with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) on the release of the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Food Allergy in the United States: Report of the NIAID-sponsored Expert Panel
