I work with individuals and help them learn how to speak up for their food allergy needs with those around them and I help healthcare corporations, restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industries, as well as governmental and non-governmental agencies understand the food allergy community’s needs and concerns and how to best serve those needs.
Recent projects include:
- Served as consumer food allergy research reviewer for the Department of Defense’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs
- Delivered national keynote and led Teen Summit for Food Allergy Research & Education
- Advised with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) on the release of the Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Management of Food Allergy in the United States: Report of the NIAID-sponsored Expert Panel
